VOYAGER SERIES:

TO THE EDGE OF SPACE

The Near Space Experiments (NESP) is an inaugural collaboration between Universiti Petra, Universiti Sains, and Nanyang Technological University to launch two high-altitude balloons, also known as microsatellites, into space.

The purpose is to collect valuable data on remote rural areas that existing satellites can’t.

This initiative aims to analyse the data collected to provide internet access to those in need. NSEP was supported by the Singapore Space Technology Association, Malaysia Space Initiative, and the Aerospace Society of Malaysia.
